Welcome to ELIM Outreach Training Center
ELIM is a private vocational and educational training center. We are a not-for-profit corporation located in Homewood, Illinois. ELIM’s curricula are approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE)-Private Business and Vocational Schools (PBVS) Division and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). Certification examinations are from the National Center of Competency Testing (NCCT), National Phlebotomy Association (NPA), and National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
The Chief Executive Officer, Ms. N. B Triplett, RN ran with her vision of educating and training allied health students to fill the shortage of health care workers. Having worked in hospitals and skill care facilities as well as an instructor in local community colleges, her desire to make a difference grew beyond her capacity as a nurse.
Being a woman of God, Ms. Triplett, felt the calling to utilize her God given knowledge to charge forward to do just that "make a difference in healthcare training" while remaining centered in the Word. As a result she chose the name, ELIM, which has a biblical origin. In April of 2004, after nearly a year of preparation, ELIM opened with a Basic Nurse Assistants Training program.
To date, over 600 students have completed the coursework and are now certified by the State of Illinois as Certified Nursing Assistants.

ELIM's accomplishments continued with a Phlebotomy Technician program in 2005 and to date over 500 students have successfully completed training. In this discipline, 97 percent of ELIM students have passed their national exam and are now certified Phlebotomy Technicians.
Building on the success of existing programs, ELIM's Electrocardiogram (EKG) program was approved in March 2007. To date, our curricula are Medical Billing & Coding Specialist, Pharmacy Technician, Dialysis Technician, Clinical Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist, Mental Health Worker/Psychiatric Aide, Computer Technology (for Healthcare), Medical Clinical Assistant with and without BNA, Occupational Therapy Aide, and Physical Therapy Aide. ELIM's future goal is to implement more Allied Health curricula. We are committed to growth and development of our curricula to graduate stellar students in meeting the growing demands in the healthcare industry
